ROSCon ES 2025
ROSCon, the international conference of reference for ROS developers, will hold a special edition in Barcelona in 2025, in addition to its annual event in Singapore.
On November 4th and 5th, Espai Pujades 350 in Poblenou (Barcelona) will become the meeting point for the ROS community in Spain. This will be a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and share experiences around a technological ecosystem that continues to grow rapidly.

ROBOTNIK AT ROSCon
In addition to sponsoring ROSCon Spain 2025, Robotnik will play an active role in this edition by presenting the latest developments in ROS and ROS 2, engaging with attendees, and answering questions.

RB-WATCHER Inspection Robot in ROS 2
Román Navarro, Software Manager at Robotnik, will present the RB-WATCHER inspection robot and its development in ROS 2. The talk will cover key aspects ranging from the design of its software architecture to autonomous navigation capabilities and sensor integration for inspection tasks in industrial environments and critical infrastructures.

Evaluation of Available Simulators for ROS 2
Ángel Soriano, R&D Manager at Robotnik, will present an evaluation of six widely used simulation environments (Gazebo, Webots, CoppeliaSim, Unity3D, Isaac Sim, and O3DE). The session will analyze their integration with ROS 2, sensor fidelity, and performance in multi-robot scenarios, sharing practical insights, integration hurdles, and lessons learned.
