Modular multi-purpose platform for indoor applications
The RB-THERON Autonomous Mobile Robot is specially designed for scalable projects that require flexibility and modularity, such as retail or quality control applications.
This platform allows the development of customized solutions to perform tasks such as inventory management, RFID tracking or real-time stock control by easily integrating modules or sensors. It also has communication and power interfaces for the integration of additional cameras or other types of sensors, extending its customisation and adaptability capabilities.
RB-THERON is a collaborative robot, capable of detecting obstacles and avoiding them dynamically. Whenever this occurs, the robot can stop or look for an alternative route to avoid the obstacle and reach the next waypoint. The embedded software consists of a control system, a localisation system (laser-based) and a navigation system, as well as an HMI user interface.
The localisation and navigation components are standard packages that are custom-configured for your application, and the software for the low-level control system is supplied with the platform.
All Robotnik robots are modular and have a ROS 2-based architecture.

Advanced, modular and compact mobile manipulator
RB‑THERON+ is one of the most advanced mobile manipulators on the market. Its compact and versatile design allows it to operate effectively in narrow aisles, making it especially suitable for industry, laboratories and warehouses. It is ideal for Pick & Place operations indoors, even in confined spaces.
It is the only autonomous mobile manipulator offering different mobile base options: differential drive for applications that require less manoeuvrability but longer reach, and omnidirectional drive for scenarios demanding high manoeuvrability in tight spaces.
Full compatibility with the UR7e arm from Universal Robots facilitates implementation and expands the range of autonomous tasks RB‑THERON+ can perform across diverse environments. Its long-lasting battery and intelligent control allow continuous operation during a standard work shift, reducing downtime, while the battery modularity enables extended autonomy by adding extra modules in the upper cabinet.
The Advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) simplifies programming and commissioning. Its software, with a modular architecture and more than 400 ROS packages, allows turnkey or full-stack solutions using C++, C, Python, HTML and PHP.
RB‑THERON+ complies with ISO 3691‑4 and ISO 13482 and features advanced safety, including an integrated anti-collision system and emergency stop button.
All Robotnik robots operate on ROS 2.
